Overview: Qantas are always looking to inspire travellers to fly with them and the launch of their Virtual Reality app.

Our creative focussed on Australia’s spiritual heartland ‘Uluru’ where we worked with the traditional owners to produce a series of cultural and spiritual adventures around this amazing Icon.

Services Provided: Creative, location scouting, talent scouting, storyboarding, 360 filming, 360 time-lapse, editing and music selection.

Method of Execution: We used a custom built Virtual Reality camera and heavy lift drone to capture this spiritual location in the best light possible. Our crew worked around the clock over 6 days capturing the most beautiful aspects of this icon.

Outcome: In total we created 11 videos that showcased the beauty and culture of Uluru and Alice Springs.

The final videos have been used in headset presentations and social media promotions by Qantas, Voyages and Tourism NT. These videos are helping to bring tourism to the area and promoting some very unique experiences.

Qantas were ecstatic with the final videos. Making them a world first for VR and drone photography in Australia’s spiritual heartland.
